Hi dears! Here they are:

1. Shriek purchased 3 identical bags and 8 identical books. 4 of these bags and 9 of these books cost $21 more. If each book cost $15 less than a bag, how much did Shriek pay for one bag?

Ans: $18 (Draw the models for 1 bag and 1 book first)

2. Lee Lee went to the fish market. If she bought 8kg of fish, she would need another $12. If she bought 5kg of fish, she would have $15 left. How much did she pay for 1 kg of fish?

Ans: $9 (Draw the models for 8kg and 5 kg of fish. You should derive at 3kg=$21)

CHARITY SALE MEMO (8 points):

1. Leaders (appointed by group) to email Ms Foo by Friday, 26th June @ 1700 hours:
- names of members
- each member's role/duty
- name of stall
- items to be sold
- cost price and selling price of each item
- publicity stunts (posters, banners, etc..)

2. The workload must be divided equally among members.

3. All pupils are to complete the tasks assigned to them before school reopens.

4. Be prepared to come to school early on Friday to mend the stalls for morning recesses @ 0930, 1000 and1030.

5. Groups can split your duties among members for the 6 recesses (3 morning and 3 afternoon).

6. Prepare a container for money collection.

7. Keep receipts of items bought for claims later.

8. The whole class is given a start-up sum of $30 which will be divided equally among the groups.
